Christmas was no let-down this year, like I was afraid it was going to be.

thankfully Dad continued his Christmas Eve tradition of reading The Polar Express to us. I've heard it almost every year since I was 6, but the story never gets old to me. :)

Presents: Nina Ricci perfume [scooore!!], a Hollister jacket, jewelry, stuff from Bath & Body Works, books, and best of all, a new computer :D
so happy, this one actually has sound! I can listen to and look up music again!!
not to mention it runs pretty fast.

stuffed myself full at Christmas dinner. Three servings then dessert. -.- oy vey. but my grandma does make really good food, and since I'm not a big believer in leftovers, I wanted to finish as much as possible...

haha. excuses. but the food was delicious.

now I'm off to figure out how to hack into my dad's computer account and make me an administrator so I can have free reign over everything again. damn restrictions. :(.

In short, was super boring.

The most fun I had the whole time was at China Bear with the orchestra, and that was the first Saturday of the break. :(

couldn't hang out with certain people I wanted to hang out with because of my ex,
and the people who weren't associated with him were all busy.

then I got dragged off to Oklahoma on Wednesday.
didn't even do anything there, besides have Thanksgiving dinner with the family.
which wasn't even a dinner really. more like a late lunch.
and the turkey sucked. again.

on the bright side, I got three new shirts and a few more random items during the Black Friday sales.
kinda thankful I was in Oklahoma for them, since the town wasn't all that heavily populated.
Wal-Mart was hell though, haha.

Checked my schedule for HEB and saw that I had no hours lined up for next week.
I got super worried, because the only time you never have any hours when you request off or when you're fired.
since I hadn't requested off, that only left me the latter.
talked to Cindy, the service manager, and she was like "well, you had called in sick on the 10th and 15th, and had requested all of last week off, so I was under the opinion you didn't want to work here anymore."
WTF?

so no money besides the $70 I have in the bank.
and I reallyyyyy want the Nina Ricci perfume. ughhh.
trying to get more hours, but now all of a sudden nobody wants to sacrifice their shift.
and my dad wants me to open up my availbilty to every day of the week.
if I'm doing bad in school now, imagine how bad I'd do if I had to work every night?

So I had another busy [yet completely fun!] Friday.

school was a bore as always. I did like two essays and IDK how many test corrections for extra credit. >.< my hand was so sore, it was like stuck in the position I hold my pencil with.

Straight after 6th period, Jenny took me home so that I could make cupcakes for the orchestra social. I needed to make about thirty, but I only had one pan that held 12. since each batch took 20 minutes to make... it took foreverrrr. Then I had to frost them all and decorate them, so all in-all it took about an hour and forty minutes. :((

Thankfully when I got to the social [I was about thirty minutes late], there was still plenty of pizza left. :D I'm such a fatty, I had like five slices. Considering that I had had only a bag of chips that day though, it can't be too bad... right? eh. whatever. Pepperoni's is sooooooooo good.

CUPCAKE WARS! It seems to be our tradition every year xDD Naomi just took a cupcake and BAM! shoved it in my mouth. Everything after that was chaos. Icing was everywhere! On clothes, in hair, across faces... So many of my cupcakes were sacrificed in the process. Naomi dropped three perfectly fine ones trying to get Genevieve D:

let's see, after that was a small mini-war with ice. then the orchestra sat in a circle of chairs and played "All My Friends...", which is a super duper fun game. So many inside jokes, and so many new ones! Though I will admit, the Dallas jokes got old after a while... Possibly because I wasn't there, but still...

after the social, went over to Shany's house with Vikram and Ramon since he was giving us a ride to the football game. Apparently Shanay can climb super high up trees, like a freaking cat or something.

the game was loads of fun, even though Travis pretty much sucked. We did good about the first half, but after halftime it was all downhill. We were getting outcoached and running HORRIBLE plays. Like seriously. WTF coaches? We actually had a CHANCE to win. ughhhh.

score? 38-14. *le sigh*

At least I got to sit with people who actually cheered :D Hyder, Safder, Jenna, Soniya, Steven ["even when you're standing on the bench I'm still taller than you!"], Karishma, and Nikesh. Best part about it? Nikesh, a.k.a. jackass exboyfriend, couldn't say anything about me being there, since the whole group had invited me over. ha. in YOUR face. It's my somewhat pathetic payback for Halloween. He WAS isolated from the group the whole time, so jah. I'm feeling just a tad victorious.

anywaaaays, Travis' first varsity game evarr was Friday. And was lotsa fun, haha. Good way to top off the week, even though I ended up losing $70. OMFGWTF WE WERE SUPPOSED TO WIN!!!! gahhh. oh well. I'll get it back somehow...

some random things:

-Justin's on the phone with Riju while we're sitting in the Wal-Mart parking lot, and says something along the lines of "Well, when you're done eating, you need to come." I burst out laughing like really hard, and I guess Riju asked who was laughing because Justin's like "It's Shannon.... We broke her... I'm sorry Shannon." xD

-Never buy cheap-ass face paint from Wal-Mart. Shit got everywhere, even on Justin's letterman. D:

-Yaaaaay Riju went to the game ^^ And my sister managed to get a random stalkerazzi picture of us together o.O apparently we looked very couple-y? I hope not, I don't want people bugging Riju about it :/
